Most weeks I choose up to 9 photos and make a collage which I then go and post on Instagram.
This week I thought I would just go through the photos that I’ve chosen and give you a little bit of a background to them.
The first photo is of a crochet poppy that I made a few years ago when I raised money for the poppy appeal.each year I bring out my puppy and make a fresh contribution and everyone that bought a puppy to do the same here is a link to to a previous blog post about my crocheted poppies.
The next photo is of me this week it’s been quite a emotional week and I hope next week is a better week.
Christmas is not that far away now and all of the shops have got Christmas items and some of the free from bloggers that I follow have posted about products and I went and treated myself to some new gluten and dairy-free Christmas products.
I have always wanted to make a wreath out of pine cones for Christmas but never got round to it. Then I saw these coloured pine cones in Aldi and thought they would be nice to use for a flatlay.
Now that the clocks have gone back in the UK the mornings and and afternoons give me the opportunity to take more sunrise and sunset shots. so I will probably carry my camera with me as well as my phone but this shot of sunshine over a building was taken with my mobile phone.
I’ve chosen two pictures from earlier this week which relate to the new h&m home store that opened in the bullring Birmingham. H&M opened a new home store in their refurbished Bullring store. This store had items with various price ranges and that is why I bought the candles at £1.99 each.
I try and cook from scratch as often as possible but sometimes I don’t have the energy. So this week as the weather got colder I used a slow cooker vegetable pack from the supermarket and made chicken stew. I used gluten free flour and dairy free spread to make dumplings.
My last photo is my latest make, corduroy skirt. I used the Sew Over It Ava skirt. This is the second one I had made but this time I used corduroy. The fabric was purchased from Barry’s Fabrics at this year’s Sew Brum meet up.
Have a good weekend and I hope to post some more blog posts soon.
